The Thin River

"Focus is a superpower. Water cuts stone by staying with one path."

Nika walked beside a narrow stream. Water slid over dark stones. One stone had a deep, smooth line. His lantern gave a cool, steady light. "Stream, how did you cut the stone?" Nika asked. "I stayed with one path," the stream said. "I touched the same place again." Nika knelt beside the stone. He placed one finger in the line. The lantern became small and bright.

Focus is water's quiet power.
