Letting Go, Standing Tall
"The winner is the one who has accepted his numerous losses."
Nika stood by a tall stone wall. Some stones were old and broken. Moss grew deep in the cracks. The wall stood strong.
"Wall," Nika asked, "how do you stay so tall?"
The Wall made no sound.
"I let the small stones fall. I let the wind wear me down. What stays, stays."
Nika touched a smooth, worn stone. The lantern light warmed the stone. It glowed steady and bright.
Letting go of what is lost makes you strong.
