Nika stood by a dark tree. A small spider spun its thread. It moved with great care. A soft web grew from twig to branch.
"Spider," Nika asked, "how do you build your home?"
The Spider did not stop its work.
"I see where I want to be. I take a path. I make it strong. I build it to hold."
Nika traced a line in the dust. He marked a small circle. He then drew a simple path to it. The lantern glowed with a steady light.
A clear path makes the hard work light.
